Solstice

My daughter drew me a picture years ago.
She wrote in calligraphy one of my favorite sayings.
I framed her drawing.
It hangs in the guest bath in June.

This saying is how I felt about being a parent.
It is how I feel about my art filled life.
It is a process.
I am kind to my way.

I befriend me in my growth.

Sherry, I believe we are both blessed with beautiful daughters !
I have an old piece of slate attached to my garden fence, that Blue bought for me, on it is a painting of a country garden, with a white picket fence...
The saying is not as sweet or sentimental as yours, but cute all the same, it says
"Gardener's know the best dirt"..

Dear Sheila,
we are blessed with beautiful daughters!
I love the art the children made when they were young. I have framed many pieces. I have my son's drawings and paintings up and my daughter's. It is a small house so I switch things out every month. That way i can enjoy all of the treasures.
Your daughter's blog is fun and she is a lover of nature too!
How wonderful for you and her to live close and be able to work together!
Hugs and sweet lavenders,
Sherry

Dear Mary,
My daughter is a beautiful. talented and wise woman.
I repect her very much. She follows her heart and uses her head!
Much of the art in our house was made by her and our son.
