Cool shot. (I'm a sheep, myself. Ironically, "Lana" is the Spanish word for "wool.")

Hi Lana,
Thanks.
This is a photo of a Carnival mask from Brazil. I saw it in a window display in one of the local shops. It is a huge mask made of tin. It is so large I thought it would be a good dragon mask for Chinese New Year.
It is always interesting to me how different cultures celebrate their traditions.
Nice that your "sheep and wool" went together so well. I wonder if your parents intended that?

Dear Sprite,
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed this photo. It is a bit different than my usual look.
Year of the Dog! Nice.
I think it is very fun learning about different cultures.
I think Dragons and Dogs get along very well together!

My daughter is born in the Year of the Golden Dragon - an occurence every 60 years. Most Chinese can tell someone's age if the Zodiac Animal is mentioned so be careful if you want to keep your age a secret! :)

Dear Xue,
It is very interesting how the different elements are part of the year's name. Golden Dragon sounds lovely...
