Dear Sprite, I think this Cooper's Hawk is the mom! The juvenile hunts my backyard all the time. I really liked this photo. I often have pictures of the Cooper's Hawk but seldom with a full wing spread. This picture also came on the day my son left for his new home. Seemed fitting! Blue skies and mom keeping watch... Ahhhh....all is well. Sherry
Dear Lisa, He/she is a handsome bird! Cooper's Hawk was in the backyard today. My husband was cleaning the garage and the bird was very interested in the sound of the shop vac! Sherry
