They make it hard to read a book at lunchtime when you have to dodge them because they are not watching were they are going when they go after each other.

Oh new poem at my blog too!!!Cathyhttp://thequietone.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-45966649571331210.post-62410633346177009872011-08-11T07:03:11.192-07:002011-08-11T07:03:11.192-07:00Dear Sherry,

My trees drip with berries, elderberries are ready for picking. I have been eating blackberries on my walks with nella for several weeks now.
This summer has been too cool.
Butterflies have been scarce, I worry, knowing they are already in decline.
A lovely Red Admiral landed on Rileys leg yesterday. I watched from afar as he sat with it so quietly. Eventually it took to the skies, his eyes followed......I was enchanted. I am so blessed with my grand-children.
I am sure we will use their tree house to watch the creatures at dusk or in the still of night.

I love your straw hat.....you look lovely in your hats.Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14802468583972118464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-45966649571331210.post-1834927343768655532011-08-11T03:31:55.531-07:002011-08-11T03:31:55.531-07:00Making books must be in the air. The days getting shorter one starts thinking about cozying up with books. Your wren looks like a fledgling. Aren't hackberry butterflies the most friendly? They like to land on people. This cool down does make summer easy to love. It is the part of summer I love for sure. Isn't it funny that the upper 80's seem comfortable after all those higher temps. The 70's feel cool even. Wonderful. Straw hats are the typical summer hat but I think they can be very hot and uncomfortable. I hope your hat band will make this one tolerable. Have a great weekend.Lisa at Greenbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743973292900758183noreply@blogger.com
